About MultiTimer
MultiTimer is a free browser-based tool for running several independent countdown timers together. It is designed for moments when one countdown is not enough: a study plan that alternates between work and rest, a meal with several dishes, an exercise session with multiple stages, or a meeting that needs time for discussion and decisions.
Why it exists
Most timer tools focus on one countdown at a time. Real routines are often more complicated. Switching between tabs or repeatedly re-entering durations creates friction and makes it harder to see the whole plan. MultiTimer keeps every countdown visible on one dashboard while allowing each timer to start, pause, reset, edit, or finish independently.
Design principles
The interface emphasizes readable remaining times, descriptive timer names, visible progress, and familiar controls. Motion and translucent surfaces add character without hiding the information that matters. The layout adapts to desktop, tablet, and mobile screens, so the same timer set can be used beside a laptop, in a kitchen, or during a workout.
Privacy-minded operation
No MultiTimer account is required. Timer names, durations, and countdown state are handled in the active browser session and are not stored in a MultiTimer database. This keeps the core utility simple and avoids collecting personal profile information merely to run a countdown.
Current scope
MultiTimer currently focuses on dependable multi-countdown controls. Timers are not synchronized between devices, and refreshing or closing the page may clear the active session. The help guide explains how to use the available controls and how to avoid losing an important running timer.
